Dairy product prices rose in the latest GlobalDairyTrade auction, stemming four consecutive slides to start the year, as whole milk powder prices moved higher across all contract periods.
The GDT average winning price gained 1.4 percent to US$2,253, up from US$2,235 at the previous auction two weeks ago. Some 21,880 tonnes of product was sold, down from 22,021 tonnes of tonnes at the previous auction two weeks ago.
